Corrie has been a classroom teacher in the Chicago Public School system for 17 years. Additionally, she has worked in Early Intervention for more than 10 years.
Our Mission
Kingdom Care provides therapeutic, developmental and educational services for children ages 2 to age 10. We provide therapy in homes or daycares, at libraries, parks or other places in the community. We focus on the child’s individual educational needs which will allow every child to flourish and blossom to their fullest potential. It is our desire for all parents to be involved in their child’s educational process.
Our Vision
It is our vision for parents, who may be disillusioned with the public school system to be empowered in their child’s educational experience. We provide support for children and families with in-person, authentic learning, in a variety of settings, that supports the whole child. We provide play- based therapy and tutoring that is aligned with Illinois State Standards. Goals should also be aligned with Individual Education Plans or a child’s Individualized Family Service Plan.
Therapy can take place in a variety of settings including in-home, daycares, public libraries and or parks. Weekly therapy sessions address behavior, self- help skills, socialization, speech and academics.
